Things to consider while buying PAR LED bulbs
Due to their wide and extensive implementation, PAR bombillos LED (LED bulbs) may take up a considerable portion of the energy utilized to light a business or home. Across an office or home, you will find them in different places, including stage lighting, home security lighting, track lighting recessed can lights and utilization as individual spotlights in museums and art galleries. Here are a few things you have to consider before buying:
1. PAR Bulb size: You can easily decide what size PAR bulb you want to replace even if you have thrown away the cover and the size is not marked on your bulb. You can easily find the diameter of the bulb in eighths of an inch.
2. Angle of the Beam: Do you know the beam angle of the tubos LED (LED tubes) you are replacing? The angle of the beam is measured as the angle between two directions opposed to each other where the light intensity is 50% of the maximum light intensity. In simple words, the angle of the beam gives one a sense of how wide the beam spreads when the bulb is emitted and may range from a small spotlight to a wide flood light.
3. Wattage: Fortunately, most PAR bombillos LED (LED bulbs) will consume less power than the halogen or incandescent bulb that you are replacing. In some situations, the energy saved may be up to 80% or more. Nonetheless, we are accustomed with the long use of halogen and incandescent bulbs to associate brightness with a specific wattage, but in the world of LED lighting, that doesn’t tell the entire story. Wattage is truly a measure of the amount of power a bulb needs and not a measure of the actual light output.
